DENVER, Sept. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Hispanic Leadership Network (HLN) and The LIBRE Initiative (LIBRE) will co-host a Presidential Debate Watch Party with local Hispanic business and community leaders beginning at 7:00 pm MDT on Wednesday, October 3rd, at the Brown Palace in Denver, CO. Guests will have the opportunity to network, watch the debate, and participate in a pre-debate panel with Hispanic experts.
"At a time when we have seen the Hispanic community disproportionately affected by unemployment, home foreclosures, increased child poverty rates and a decreased net worth, it is important that our community pay close attention to the issues raised during this debate and that we commit to create an environment for private sector growth, quality educational attainment and entitlement sustainability," said Daniel Garza, Executive Director of The LIBRE Initiative.
"With the presidential race so close, the Hispanic community plays a more decisive role than ever. It is critical that we are educated on where each candidate stands on the issues that will turn this nation around and restore opportunity and prosperity to America," said Jennifer S. Korn, Executive Director of the Hispanic Leadership Network.
